Joseph P. Brady
Mr. Joseph P. Brady is presently the Director Of New Business Development
in the Research & Development Center at Fort Monmouth. Prior to that, he
was the Chief of the Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU)
Office. He has 20 years of continuous Government service, 15 of which
were spent in the acquisition field. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Brady
provides business advice and support to the Director of the R&D center,
and the entire RDEC technical staff. Mr. Brady is a graduate of the AMC
intern program and is a member of the ARMY Acquisition Corps.
Mr. Brady has a MSA in Business Management from Central Michigan
University, and also a BSBA in Business Management from Shippensburg
State College, Shippensburg, PA.
Mr. Brady has recently been the recipient of the Secretary of the Army Award
for Small & Small Disadvantage Business for his effort on the ACIN program.
Mr. Brady is the recipient of the Secretary of the Army’s award for Outstanding
Achievement in Materiel Acquisition and The Department of the ARMY
Meritorious Civilian Service award. Mr. Brady has been the recipient of the
CECOM, the AVSCOM, and HQ USAISEC Commander awards for Civilian
Service. Mr. Brady has also been a recipient of the CECOM Outstanding
Leadership award and was named to the AMC SADBU Team of Excellence
for his work in Small Business.
Mr. Brady's civil activities include Commissioner of the St. Andrews Basketball
and Soccer Programs, and co-founder of the Newtown Shamrocks AAU
basketball club. He also is a board member for AUSA, NDIA and the New
Jersey Technical Council.
Mr. Brady resides in Langhorne, PA with his wife Kathy and two children
Caitlyn and Kellie.
